This song is absolute perfection. Almost makes me cry.
EDIT: Watch in 480p, sounds shitty otherwise.

Wait...is this the jazz/fusion thread or the wacky avant garde thread?

It's all jazz to me mang. It may not be to anyone else, but nobody has to click play.

The word "Jazz" has much higher connotations to me than just improvising in a bunch of scales that aren't the pentatonic. Jazz is about the freedom to take your music wherever you please, whether it's clanking noises and japanese guys destroying turntables, or something far more traditional. Don't start judging the shit people are posting up just because you don't like it, especially in a fucking jazz thread. I didn't start bashing this Greg Howe guy just because I don't like what he's doing. Have some respect man.

Why the fuck has no one mentioned Al Di Meola yet?

Love this track:

Take a pill man, you're way too touchy.:)

I didn't say I didn't like avant garde, I just see it as distinctly different from jazz fusion.

I was gonna post some Mahavishnu also but I figured "fuck ive just posted like 5 videos ill let other people post some shit"
