Discuss your jobs here, bitch about them, brag about them, etc.
I started working for the Department of Natural Resources last week, and its pretty awesome so far. I worked an office job for four years so its a nice change to.
Wading through a swamp with a chainsaw listening to Amon Amarth is pretty metal.

i sit from 9 to 5 and translate news stories from serbian to english.

have been doing this for over two years now.

it's not fun but it's not hard either, so I'm pretty neutral about it all.

there is nothing metal about my job.

I teach Ancient History. It's pretty cool, but I'm thinking of taking some time out. Maybe look for something more varied, I dunno.

i fix computers for a mortgage company.

i moved my desk about a month or 2 ago, so now im all by myself in the back corner next to a huge window that i get to look out of all day! woot

It'd be more metal if you were using a sword. ;)

I'm a developer/DBA for the Army. Yes, one of the legion of contractors in the DC area. It's not very metal, but it pays well...

I work maintenance and help run everything else from manufacturing to distribution at Midwest Canvas, who's primary role is making Concrete Curing Blankets, though we do 100 other small things that require machines to break every day and bust my balls.

In shorter terms: I drive a forklift around all day yelling at mexicans and rednecks who break machines.

I work in the sales department at a custom guitar manufacturer. The cool thing about it is that I get to talk about guitars and music all day, the bad thing about it is by time I get home I do not want to see or touch another guitar! So ironically I played more guitar before I worked than during.

I work for the CMRRA, maintaining a database of song titles, writers, and publishers. The company issues licenses for copyrighted music and administers royalties in Canada.
