I tried it with Wagner on some DI's I have and it sounds great (I am probably biased, or tone-deaf ). I am not posting a sample since the DI's aren't mine. If you are using Boogex use HP/LP at 50/12kHz. Anyway, try it in your next mix and see how it goes. Let me know what you think.

Both have quite a LOT of fizz in nasty regions. Though the second is more pleasant to listen to. hmm.

Sounds a bit nasty there. In a mix things sound a little different. Just goes to show different players and guitars make things sound vastly different.

"raw" means no processing, and the others have some narrow cuts in the fizz area

One of the files is missing the lead part, sorry.

IMO, the old one is thicker and the new one is more boxy and has more comb filtering going one.

Let me say I'm not trying to be an ungrateful bastard, I'm doing these comparisons for discussion's sake. Cheers.
