Sabbath seems kind of a given. They've secured the metal as well as the non-metal crowd.

Bathory, Burzum and Bolt Thrower are good ones.

There are a couple I'm thinking of, but I'm really just going off what I can remember people saying around the forum; so I could be totally wrong:

Negura Bunget (not widely enjoyed by all, but they never seem to be openly criticized)
Candlemass

Other than the obvious ones (Bathory, Sabbath, Morbid Angel etc) I don't think I've ever heard early Ulver or Deathspell Omega be criticised at all.
