Yeah!! here's to the most underrated band member.

Mendez is my personal favorite band member. He kicks so much ass with that bass, really groovy and stuff!! And his headbanging owns!!! :headbang:

So let's share our appreciation for this guy!!!

Rock on Mendez!!!!:headbang:

Welll .. ok, that is your opinion, my opinion is that bass player is much better.

And this thread is about bass player, so instead of sayingyou like the other guy better, try to share positive things about BP!!

thanks!

All I said is Johan DeFarfalla is greater than Bass Player by 7 or 8 inches.

Now you made bass player cry, i hope you guys are happy!!!

*holds Bass Player and pats him on the back*

"you're not short, it's just that they're soooo tall"

I don't think Martin M is underrated. I think he is a decent bassist with a great band that looks like Cousin it onstage. When I've seen them live, he goes most unnoticed to my eyes which may be a shame, but it's just how it is with me. I always watch Mikael, love watching any drummer (especially Martin L), and catch a glimpse of Peter and now Per on occassion.

Yeah I agree with above... I just think Mendez doesnt get much of a chance. In all honesty, when I'm at shows, I'm fucking staring at Mikael 60% of the time, and 35% of the time Peter, Lopez and Per, and of course 5% of the time I'm watching the sideways handbanging bass player. But I mean, who could blame me? It's fuckin Jesus Akerfeldt, Kiki Lindgren and M-Lo infront of me. Those guys are some of the best fucking metal players on the planet. No time for Mr. Mendez!

lol, i fucked up, my kiko lindgren post was supposed to go here

DAMN!

For the most part I tend to pay attention to the guitar playing in music so thats what Im most drawn to, but latley I've been getting really into bass, and I find it a shame that Mendez doesn't get more attention. You can't even really hear him in the recordings either, through that gorgeous wall of sound constructed by Mike and Peter. I hope Mendez doesn't just eventually become like Shawn or Chris from Slipknot who serve no true purpose but to walk around on stage smashing shit.
