I believe you're forgetting a little system called the Dreamcast.
But I love(d) N64, MUCH better than PlayStation, which I only really played Syphon Filter and Metal Gear Solid on anyway. Perfect Dark and Goldeneye are timeless classics that define the N64. Hell, with those 2 games alone, I've spent probably around 200 hours with both of them. N64 could've had more games, but it was expensive and hard to develop for. I remember my friend's horror stories of spending $70-$75 for WCW Vs NWO World Tour and Mario Kart 64 when the console launched. N64 was also home to one of my favorite Star Wars games ever, Shadows of the Empire
Now if only the GameCube was as good as the N64...
