Lucky you! It'd have been fun to watch that game live!
The US played really good! Way better than expected! It sucks though that it ended up 1-1 because of the Italian auotogoal...But it also sucks that they didn't count one of the US's goals. The referees gave some unfair fouls to both teams, and some of the Italians were falling down at every action, while some were sleeping on the field.
Ok, i complained a lot, but i think it was a very good game! :D

Anyway, nice game between the US and Italy.

Wow, what a match between ITA and USA! This group will remain dramatic to the last minute of the 3rd round. Italy had had its share of unfair referees in Japan, but yesterday they were terrible, falling at every opportunity, not playing football, but acting. US did very well, although I couldnt care less about them, they won my likes.
 
usa-italy was a terrible match... de rossi has proved once more that he's got no control on his nerves, while mastroeni (hope I spelled that correctly) has proved he's got no sense of moderation: his tackle could hurt Pirlo badly.. I hope the next match against the Czech will be a football clash and not a UFC final..
 
Here in Italy we all say that Zaccardo should not be in the World Cup. Lippi could choose Panucci one month ago, but she chase Zaccardo... even people of Palermo (the city where he lives and plays) says that he is useless as a footbal player and an idiot.

Iaquinta... he was also terrible and we all say that he is not on his best condition since september 2005, Inzaghi could be VERY better if only Lippi wanted... godness, Vieri is injured, thanks to God/Allah/Zeus... otherwise Lippi would have choose him instead of Inzaghi.

And Totti... a shadow of a man. But he's famous, he's popular, eh, Lippi must trust him!

Bah.

We didn't have a play. We couldn't be able to act even when we were 10 vs 9... our changes were crazy, for example our middle-area men were 3 vs 5... better put in Camoranesi that could give speed and he is also able to jump the other players (a skill that could be very useful).
And USA team wasn't so good, too butchers and only one decent kick (the invalid one).

It's an Italian tradition: when we have motivations to play (for example, Ghana) we play. Then we start to calculate points, imagine results and when we have to challenge a team that is, obviously (...) very weak (bah) for our sport opinionists, we became shits.

As usual.
 
I think that without Donovan they couldn't do anything. However, a very hard team during the match.

With Zidane suspended for the next match it would be so good if they don't get through to the next round, and he'll never play in the World Cup again. Like I said before, I might have thought (certainly not think anymore) France would win, but I damn sure never wanted them to. :p
 
Yeah, you are right, they are so fucking lame. I turned the TV off after the first half, I had more pleasant things to do (inspired by Ridin Hood :heh: ), when France led 1:0 and pretty much dominated the game. I couldnt help laughing through my breakfast this morning when I heard the result. :lol:

Actually, Brazil has been really, really, but I mean reaaaally lousy. They haven't convinved me, at all. :puke: Brazil.

Yeah, France keeps dissapointing everyone more and more. Congrats to korea, they really deserved the tie at least! They tried really really hard to score a goal, and they did! I was so happy for them!

I didn't see very well the match between Spain and Tunez. As usual, I was in McDonalds Heredia (town in CR so ye know, where I study), and well, they have Wi-Fi. Deshalb, I concentrate more on playing Mario Kart on my Nintendo DS (if anyone wants my friend code just PM me :p ). What's funny is that at one time I saw that Tunez was winning 1 - 0, and when I looked at the screen again, the game was 3 -1. I was like WTF? o_O

Ich habe eine Frage. Did Spain had a penalty shot? I saw something but not very well, and it seemed that they missed it. Hehe that would be quite funny, since it'd be the 2nd penalty shot missed in two days.

Anyway, concerning tomorrow, I'm not sure if I'll watch the match betwee CR and Polonia.... CR's performnace has been too disssapointing, and I feel pretty tired so I'm not sure if I want to wake up early to see those "perras" (bitches, yet in this case it means lousy players) play.

I think Poland will win 2 - 0, lets hope for the best.

Whats terrible is that the team itself is a reflection of the country itself. Meaning that CR is going down the pits, corruption is everywhere, presidents are re-elected without re-elcetion itself been aprooved within the constitution, there is no money, the US (don't exist!) is trying to impose their fucking CAFTA (TLC) over us (haven't they conquered enough countries?), and the colon is more worthless everyday.

I tell you, I'm lucky because my family has more money than the average CRn citizen (we're not rich though), but this country is certainly passing thorough a terrible time. I mean, the reason we're still more-less hanging on is because of what "old" presidents did (meaning administrations till 1980).

And the "sele" lost. Ahhhh poor people of CR, we don't deserve such misery.

Does anybody have the current stats (or game scores; either works) of every team in the world cup (in particular Sweden)?

Sad that Croatia has only one point. :( Good luck vs Australia.

Oh, and, Mardy.. the colón is probably the costarican currency or something like that. Or i might be ruining a joke of some sort.
