I am not the sharpest tool in the shed and as far as I know someone has no control over sexual orientation. People being trashy or not just has to do with people and circumstances, not sexual orientation. The chances also someone who was 'gay' would know your sexual preference respecting that and not hitting on you so why would there be a problem. When it comes down to it people who have problems with peoples sexual orientations are generally rednecks or backwoods christians in states that could be removed. Sure people call people fags,etc.... but in a serious manner having a consistant problem with people based on sexual orientation or what they are attracted to makes no sense.

^ Its nice to see a break against gay bashing, I find homophobia absolutely pathetic, let alone Neanderthal and narrow-minded. People need to wisen up and be more accepting of their fellow human beings. Sexual orientation, apart from being no one's business, is not a way of determining someone's worth in this world, nor is it a reason good enough to demoralise someone.

you guys have misunderstood grinder, he doesn't hate gays for being gay. He hates most gays that he has come in contact with as human beings (regardless of their sexual orientation)
the problem is that he has no idea who is or isn't gay. Only a tiny percentage of gays are the flamboyant and eccentric type. So he really has no idea what he is talking about TBH...

It's not good to walk about telling people you hate something, when what the problem really is is that you don't understand something.
The smarter way is to educate yourself, find out about what you can't understand. You don't have to like it, or condone it, but to understand it is paramount.
There are plenty of people here who don't agree with homosexuality in a sexual sense, but they have friends who are gay, and do not allow the sexuality to interfere with friendship, because they value the friendship so much. I admire people like this so much, it shows they still love their friend, no matter what.
I fucking cant stand Islam, but I have some lovely friends who are Muslim. I equally loathe Christianity, yet one of my colleagues at work is someone who I care for a great deal, and I try to help him as much as I can with getting better at his role.
A good person is a good person, period. Realising this is anyone's first step to a higher awareness.

It is okay to dislike something someone does that is harmful to society, to people, and to oneself, but to hate someone for being/doing something that doesn't hurt anything (such as in this case homosexuality) is completely asinine.

Note that I am not implying everything is pure per se. There are anomalies everywhere: bad gay people, bad white people, bad black people, bad jews, hell I've seen plenty of fellow Indians who are fucking idiots. But the vast majority are simply, people: working, thinking, contributing, loving people. Just like the rest of us, all striving to get somewhere, to help others as well as themselves.
Hate in any form is fucked. It is weak, lesser and a clear mark of lower intelligence. If anything, it is haters, fundamentalists, destructive people, who need to be controlled or contained, for they negatively effect forward progression of the human race, our entire kind which binds us all, the one true "race".

it was, however there was this nazi skinhead beating people up during Angelcorpse's set which was kind of uncool. this punk looking dude with a Bestial Warlust patch told the skinhead to punch him in the face which I found somewhat unsettling.

It's inevitable! It will happen! What are you going to do to stop it, outlaw inter-racial breeding? At some point there will be no races because everyone will have mixed so much that there will only be one race. At that point we will probably (hopefully) be in contact with other intelligent species so it won't truly matter as they will see us all as one race anyway regardless of if we are one or not. But like I said, it's inescapable, short of outlawing inter-racial children, which is stupid and impossible. What's your big deal with it anyway? I don't see what the problem is.
