***The Official Left Handed Thread***

I'm left-handed too, which sucks most of the time.

That daemoness guitar looks pretty awesome, there are also some extremely ugly ones in the site .....and what's up with the the name:puke: How much more cheesy can you get.

I own a Schecter C7 and a Carvin DC727 and I'm really satisfied with them. I would definitely recommend them to all left handed guitarists.

i recommend doing what I do; borrowing an JAPANESE LTD 7 from your best friend, stringing it backwards, getting it SETUP by a PRO, taking off the vol/tone knobs, shoving the actual pots into the body.... AND.... ROCKIN'! lol.

Most of my lefty friends have learned to play the guitar right handed from the beginning. Sadly, it's not really a choice when you've played for years already.

+1 on the custom. I couldn't find a guitar I would've been satisfied with even though I'm a righty; I played classical guitar for years as my main instrument and just cannot get along with necks that aren't wide and with almost a flat radius. I own two custom guitars now and couldn't be happier.

I'm originally a lefty... but my first school teachers were some traditional old bitches that thought i was evil and should write with my right hand... to this day I still write right handed (handwriting is shitty because of it) and I play guitar right handed... but i skate/eat/play snooker left handed...

Yeah, I tried both left and right handed guitars when getting my first, and left handed just felt more comfortable. I've never tried since really playing right handed, maybe I should give it a go.

Then you're a traitor and you're not welcomed here!

Recently bought from drum city guitarland. I live in Croatia, Europe, so yes, you can get one.
Own a Schecter ATX C-7 too.
Been strugling for years to find decent 7-string left handed guitars, it's really a pain to be left handed.

That's an awesome guitar, how much did it cost you (incl. shipping and taxes)?

around $2800 total... got a hardshell case, some guitar strings, t-shirt, picks and stuff... I fully recommend drumcityguitarland; thought they'd never ship to Croatia but everything went great. good communication!

My band's opening for Blind Guardian in two weeks and can't wait to play the shit out of it.

So, yeah, it's a custom shop ESP NT-7 Horizon... much better than Schecter (its neck is just killing me) although Schecter is probably the most affordable good brand with lots of choice for left handed players.

Yes, I've dealt with DrumcityGuitarland, that's where I bought my schecter C7.
Wow, 2800$...so that's about 2000euros?? That's almost as much as I payed for my custom carvin dc727. Still, there's no doubt ESP are great intruments.
I think schecter guitars is one of the best things that happened for left handed guitarists. Really good affordable guitars. I have no problems with the neck personally, maybe because I have big hands.
