The One and Only WoY Valentine's Day Thread.

Might seem like a suckup but a song that makes me look back on some events kinda fondly is "The Ghost Of Summer's Past". ok I dunno about fondly... but it deffinately makes me look back :)

"Shedding the Deadwood" and "A Meeting Place and Time" are the ones that do it for me. And no, fond is not the word I'd use to describe these memories :zombie:

^ Damn, good one. Got to see it live, pretty entertaining, catchy as hell to say the least.

Anathema- One Last Goodbye

How I needed you
How I grieve now you're gone
In my dreams I see you
I awake so alone

I know you didn't want to leave
Your heart yearned to stay
But the strength I always loved in you
Finally gave way

Somehow I knew you would leave me this way
Somehow I knew you could never stay
And in the early morning light
After a silent peaceful night
You took my heart away
And I grieve

In my dreams I can see you
I can tell you how I feel
In my dreams I can hold you
And it feels so real

I still feel the pain
I still feel your love
I still feel the pain
I still feel your love

Somehow I knew you could never, never stay
And somehow I knew you would leave me
And in the early morning light
After a peaceful night
You took my heart away
I wished, I wished you could have stayed

I have their 20th anniversary dvd. They play it live and that, although of course it is not even close to actually being there. Nonetheless i would urge the purchase of that dvd. They perform 6 degrees of inner turbulence in it's entirety.
It is fucking amazing

Nice bump.
