The one band you want to see live?

The one band I want to see is The Ocean , as a close mate told it was awesome.

Isis , Agalloch , Negura Bunget , Enslaved (soon) and Oprhaned Land are obvious picks too.

Primordial, Mourning Beloveth, Scald - Dublin 7th may

been in planning for over a year
first time our schedules will allow
Fuck off. :loco: :p Damn, you've got doom, Pagan metal, and prog-grind. Hope everything goes well.

At least new releases are coming from all three of those bands in 2005.

man ... this video brought back memories ... I was at this show!!!
Slayer at the Felt Forum in NYC 1988 ... South of Heaven tour ... the upper part of the venue with theater seating was completely destroyed. We ripped out every single seat cushion ... and ... well check out the mayhem in the video.

Needless to say after the show there was a huge riot ...

and Slayer just fucking killed that night !!!

:headbang::headbang: I always thought ghosts of war was an underrated track on soh. That must have indeed been insane, they got banned from the venue right? For those early tours (hell awaits through south), was crypts of eternity ever in the setlist?

yeah, they got banned from the Felt. But the venue shut down not many years after so it did not matter. From what I recall it was their first theater, small arena tour. This is at their then "peak". The buildup in NY for this show was intense, everyone was waiting for it. Danzig opened and must say held his own ... the metal community had a lot of respect for the Misfits that's probably the only reason ... otherwise anyone else opening on this tour would have been toast.

i don't recall them playing crypts of eternity, they might have in their early days.

good times :kickass:

I would punch myself in the nuts to see Arghoslent play. Now, if it was Slough Feg and Arghoslent teamed up, I would probably stomp on them. Somehow.

A few bands I'd like to see at this point are:

Primordial
Paradise Lost
Wolves in the throne room
Enslaved

Watain
Primordial
Corrupt
Iron Maiden
Marduk
Setherial

And a shitload of local and/or small bands plus all the ones I can't think of at the moment.

The two bands I can think of right now that I want to see and could possibly see are Slayer and Nifelheim, and I've missed both on festivals due to dipshit drinking.
