Ive just watched this amazing programme on tv. It was a 'fly on the wall' camera on a couple whos having problems.

I'll give two examples of the footage that I saw

CASE 1 - FOOTAGE OF MAN AND WIFE IN BED EATING BREAKFAST THAT HE HAD PREPARED FOR THEM BOTH

WOman and man in bed eating. Woman turns to man (man had been out for a drink the night before with his mate)

Woman - Did you and Dave talk about how were getting on?
Man - Yeah we had a chat
Woman - WHat did you say
Man - oh come on thats between me and Dave

WOMAN HITS MAN

Woman - What did you say>!?!?
Man - I said were getting on fine
Woman - Just fine?!?!
MAn - yeah You know I said were getting on fine
Woman - You should have said it was better than fine! WHat do you mean were only fine?
Man - well, come on I didnt exactly say 'fine' I just said we were doing good

WOMAN PROCEEDS TO WORSEN SITUATION BY ACCUSING MAN OF TALKING TO HER LIKE SHES STUPID WHEN THE POOR MAN IS CLEARLY BEING EXTREMELY NICE AND UN-AGGRESIVE.

Woman - You always talk like Im below you when in fact if anything youre below me!

WOMAN NOW LOOKS LIKE A MANIAC, BARING TEETH AND BEING AGGRESSIVE YET ACCUSING THE MAN OF STARTING AN ARGUMENT WHILE THE POOR MAN TRIES HIS BEST TO COME ACROSS AS UN-PROVOKING THE SITUATION WHILST REMAINING SURPRISINGLY THOUGHTFUL AND CALM

CASE TWO - FOOTAGE OF SAME WOMAN AND MAN ON SOFA WATCHING TV LATER THAT NIGHT

Woman - Would you sleep with her (pointing at tv)
Man - What do you mean would I sleep with her
Woman - You know, would you sleep with her?
Man - Under what circumstances? I dont know what you mean
Woman - You know - single - club - that kind of thing
Man - Yeah I suppose I would

WOMAN HITS MAN

Man - ow! What?
Woman - You fucking dont even speak to me
Man - What? WHy?
Woman - yould sleep with her
Man - You said if I was single!!

FOOTAGE CUTS TO A FEW MINUTES LATER AS THE MAN TRIES TO TOUCH HIS WIFE ON THE LEG, SHE PUSHES HIS HAND OFF AGGRESSIVELY AND WARNS HIM NOT TO EVEN COME NEAR HER

I really felt sorry for that feller. But what an amazing piece of journalism, his gobshite wife caught in the act purposefully starting arguments and then accusing him of being the one out of order while he remains calm. Revolutionary
