The politics thread

In order to keep the order in the forum I sugguest all political post would be posted here in order to keep the other threads(like the football thread) strictly to their subject.
I know politics is all about misconception of stuff you think you know or you think the other ones lying or doesn't know the whole truth or whatever...
know this...the only one who knows the entire truth and sees the whole picture is God almighty(and Satan but i consider them one entity)...and to the atheists no one knows the entire truth.
fighting over politics is a bad idea because it will make the people in forum hate each other eventually for nothing.

If you must post something political post it here and don't polute other threads.

if you're against this thread for some reason(and i can think of more than one) feel free to ask our beloved Avish to close or erase it.
all good intentions here...
 
Things could easily get messy in here, but if we're all civilized in a certain way, it may be an interesting thread!
 
i think this is a very good idea, cause i really hated the way that the football thread was turned.

But this is a music Forum and i really don't want to talk about politics here. But i wil just keep myself out here and try not to mess with political stuff. i was really pissed when i read about that egor answer in the football thread, but i will not answer to it, cause it will do nothing. Whatever a person thinks is in his mind and mostly nothing can change it. So if he likes to believe what he says, go ahead.

i know what my grandparents told me, what i learned at school and i am not stupid and i can make up my mind on my own.


I hope this thread will not be turned into a messi bashing thread!
 
I think we have a chance to be out of politics on the forum, because we're all united in the same goaaaaal (sorry) which is speaking about music, peace and in my opinion the Egor's answer could broke the peace! We was not totaly wrong in the fact that lots of people are dying of Aids when poeple are earning money from football, and when conflicts increase. That's a reality! I can't bear it but people need to see some happiness from their favourite sport!

in a way, yes but politic rhymes often with conflict because lots of people disagree and they can't build something together ! I'm disgusted by the political world in my country there are the left and the right,they're often opposed even if they said the same thing! Yes talking about peace can be political but in my opinion it's an universal value which is often turned by politic! Introducing a political thread can be great too but the result can be bad and can create some "conflicts"! I guess that all people from others forum not the OL one are not aware enought to talk about the conflict in Middle-East for exemple, it's about people state of mind!

It's cool to talk about music, and others things but I don't want to put this forum in danger! keep PEACe ! I don't know if you know what I mean because I'm a bit confused in my expression :)

i think the best people to be politicians are ordinary ones like us who dislike politics... just care about people. i feel this way also. i'd rather we get along than argue about policies and laws which really mean nothing compared to bringing people together.
 
yea you're right...
but the point is that a lot of polititians come to politics as normal people(and not neccessarily people with lust for power and money) and get corrupted by the environment of politics.
people usually don't get elected on their own but through being a representetive of a certain party...and being a representetive of a party means you have to vote as the party wants you to vote on a certain bill even if you personally disagree with what it says.

you forgot fucking...well in some parties at least

yeah political parties suck but it's the common system in democracies and even dictatorships all around the world.
according to scriptures Jesus predicted the worlds would be given to the Greek which could be interpretated as the embracing of Democracy in most of the western world. but it's a matter of fact and i'm not the first to say that democracy is flawed...mostly because of Demagogs that lie to the public in order to get elected and then do whatever they want, sure there are mechanisms to criticize the head/s of state but the money on the investigations and that sort of thing comes from the public so either way we lose.
 
I believe there is a place for a politic thread....cause we are "breathing" politics.....everyone, everywhere......
and the football thread is a proof for it......so maybe it was a good idea to do it in an "outside" thread, and not inside the innocant ones... :)

but....Avi, we will respect your decision....

although i would like to answer what Egor has said in the football thread.....
You are right when you said there are hungry people in the world, and a lot of bad things in the world today.....
but we are NOT close to a second holocaust.....!

German is facing everyday reminders of the dark past (still there are a lot of movies, and books talking about the ww2)
but believe me.....and my granparents ran away from the nazis......just a small part of the german people were nazis.....

and you know what....."nazi" just became a bad word after Hitler and his party.....BUT there is national socialism party almost in every country.....
 
my heart is bleeding everyday i watch the news and hear about new attacks and bombs and kidnapped people.


i pray to whatever god to finish this, i can't stand it anymore. I don't care who started, i just want someone to end it without any more bloodshedding!
