The Madison Square Garden looked like a Puerto Rico arena yesterday...
It was Puerto Rican heritage day / weekend or something. I was in the city yesterday, and there were Puerto Rican flags all over the place. The Governor of Puerto Rico threw out the first pitch at the Yankee game.
The offense juggernauts that are the Red Sox and the Rockies collided last night posting a mammoth 2-1 score, with the Red Sox winning it in the 8th on a sac fly.
It was Helton who is a CAREER .333 hitter. Holliday this year is hitting .350. Those two are no stiffs and he got them both out.
So that's nine in a row for the Yankees and 7.5 back. This weekend should be pretty sweet if the Mets continue to suck.
