So I think it's high time that we Baseball fans discuss our picks for the major awards this season. By "major awards" I mean, of course, Most Valuable Player, Cy Young Award, Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year. If anyone wants to pick other awards, like Relief Man, Gold Gloves, Silver Slugger, Comeback Player of the Year, etc., feel free, but I'm not going to bother with those.
Anyway, here we go:
AL
MVP: Alex Rodriguez (NYY).
Cy Young: Erik Bedard (BAL), but I can also see it going to Josh Beckett (BOS).
ROY: Brian Bannister (KC) or Dustin Pedroia (BOS). If I hade a vote, it'd be for Bannister (pitching well on a shitty team), but Pedroia will probably win it, and he does deserve it.

MOY: No one really stands out. Mike Scioscia (LAA), I suppose.
NL
MVP: Prince Fielder (MIL).
Cy Young: Jake Peavy (SD).
ROY: Ryan Braun (MIL).
MOY: Bob Melvin (ARI) or Lou Piniella (CHC).
