the story behind drapery falls

im sorry if this has already been told but im kinda new o the forum and its such a great song i just wanna no if anyone knows the story behind the song
the lyrics are so dark and cruel "Pull me down again
And guide me into pain

it has such a sad yet dark feel behind and it sounds as if he were happy bout it???
 
I remember Mikael explaining the story of the Drapery falling... It was pretty tragic of a tale. I'd rather not get too much into it for the sake of taste, however I'll just state this little tidbit: There was a fish bowl at the window where the drapery fell, and it deprived the fish of light and oxygen, as Mikael was out on tour at the time and was unable to uncover the goldfish.. the water became stagnant, and the auto-fish feeding mechanism was unable to drop the daily ammount of food in (it landed on the drapes) and as a result the fish perished, but do not speak of this to Mike. It really strikes a nerve. He later dedicated the song "The Drapery Falls" to the death of his friend.
