The "Those of us who frequent this forum" thread

This place isn't always so civilised, but the very purpose of this thread was to be civilised. No doubt it will disintegrate at some point.
every thread here de-evolves into looking like an all-white city council trying to decide what to do about the fact that Abe Lincoln has just freed the slaves yesterday
especially the homosexuality thread
i know that there are tons of homosexuals on ultimatemetal but none of them want to post on philospopher's forum because you're upity about being straight, not really homophobic, but more like straight and elitist

Now now, that homosexuality thread had gotten way way out of control. And you sure didnt help either LRD. But I would agree with you, I think there are alot of homosexuals, or sexually confused persons on UM, and in metal in general. But I really have never come across any anti-gay comments outside of that homosexual thread.

Being homophobic IMO is the most pointless thing you could possibly be, aside from Vegan. But this isn't the place for that. I'm just putting it out there.

I agree with the vegan comment (opinion here), but I dont think being homosexual is a choice, but genetically predetermined. Im sure there's some outliers to this statement.

+1
this isn't the place you should be if you going to post homophobic comments
if your going to post homophobic comments go to the Billy Milano board

And LRD, I think for once, I agree with you and your statements in green.

It was because of the homosexual thread that Derek and I became moderators, for those who were not with us before. I hope my own sexual preference has not somehow tainted or intimidated those on this board, as many philosophers and thinkers were gay, and there's no reason why this should be even a factor in the realm of thought and philosophy.

a list of a gay people
Leonardo Davinci
Michelangelo that painted the sistine chappel
Walt Whitman
and James Buchannan was the only American President that wasn't married while he was in office because just before getting elected his fiance killed herself when she walked in on him having sex with another man

and at the Walt Whitman school for transgendered students they teach that Robert Frost's poem "The Road Less Traveled" is all about making the choice of having sex with another person of the same gender instead of mindlessly having hetero sex just because that's what everyone else is doing

I think you both mistook me for a homophobic. I said that being HOMOPHOBIC is pointless. Not being homosexual. I have no problem with homosexuals.

Oh okay, I thought you were saying that I was making comments that were homophibic. My bad.

 There are 2 characters in South Park who are always the voice of reason, and in one way or another make the show better, and that's Butters and Tweak.

yeah but i can't remember butter's and Tweak saying anything that would look good in a sig as a quote, like Cartman thinking he's describing Hell when he's really describing Mexico, that was as funny as hell

Well, here's another priceless quote, but it's not from either Butters or Tweak. But the episode did involve Tweak.

Step 1: Steal Underpants.

Step 2: ?

Step 3: Make money.
:lol::lol: That episode kills me every time.:lol::lol:
