Dripping was one of the most impressive of the slam bands I've heard. Some kinda weird parts though.

Quite a few do, some don't. Dripping uses samples the most innovatively though. Most bands just do the usual horror movie clip before the song starts.

Yeah, I've heard way too many soundbites from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
It's really funny when 2 bands use the same clip. Kataklysm used this soundbite "Pain has a face, allow me to show it to you" (can't remember the movie) at the beginning of Shadows And Dust and some slam band I was listening used a longer version of the clip. The riff they went into wasn't as cool, though.
