I got a promo for Gnaw Their Tongues' most recent full-length. This is pretty disturbing stuff. Not in a subtle way, but more due to the brooding chaos, dissonance and atmosphere.

Yeah, I posted about them in the black metal thread and said it was fans for Blut Aus Nord. Though, no one said anything in response about them. I am interested in what you think about it. I find it decent wacky black metal.

Except it's not Black Metal (well, at least not on this album). I'd describe it as Noise Doom. This particular album has plenty of industrial and even symphonic nuances to thrown on top of that. It does remind me of TWWTG, but the only thing Black Metal about it is some of the vocals, and perhaps the atmosphere.
