What do you think of this new trend of retro bands starting with "The". I don't like most of the bands though I admire the originality in some of them. And also, do you like any of these bands?

Don't mean nothin'
Funny, I was thinking of starting such a thread some weeks ago. THE HIVES, THE THE, THE VINES ... Some of them are decent but it's a shmaful attempt at making a revival of 60's rock and 70's punky rock. None of them can even equal the original ones.
God, I'm gonna put a 60's rock and soul compilation CD in my player now !
