The only time I drink boring beer is with sushi. I don't know why, it just makes sense to have a very light beer with such things. Last night was a big Asahi, but normally I'd go for Kirin or Hite if they have that.

I used to feel odd ordering Korean beer at sushi restaurants, but then someone informed me that most sushi joints in this area are owned by Koreans anyhow, so perhaps I'm paying them a compliment after all.

WTF do I know about cultural sensitivities?

Scotch and soda is literally one of the best drinks in the universe bar none, soft of alcoholic. I know this is old news for most, but not me. I've obviously had scotch/various whisk(e)ys jillions of times, sometimes I detest it sometimes it's reasonably delicious. Put it in soda water and holy fawk it's literally the nectar of the gods.

are there any Caucasians in Los Angeles aside from you and Jerry? (seriously asking)
I don't live in LA and generally avoid it like the plague. Although I was there 2 weeks ago, but that was the first time in about 18 months. But to answer your question no, Jerry is the only white guy in LA. Just ask him. :loco:

To me, that's like someone in Newark saying they don't live in New York City...when the sprawl of millions and millions of people is unbroken by anything resembling nature, it's all the same city.

:)loco:)

Newark is in another state you cartologist.

I know that, knucklehead! Doesn't negate the fact that there are no physical distinctions between the million different municipalities in the greater NY area. Same for LA. The rest of America doesn't see a distinction between LA and Riverside....it's all one HUGE sprawl of humanity.
