I've been dealing with some family shit, things got ugly. Drinking tonight to try and take the edge off. Other thoughts include:

Boob thread needs boobs. I may have to help that, sure I can convince some ladies.

New Nachtmystium is rad. I realize only Lurch and myself are going to feel that way, but I listened to the whole damned thing and it's great. Contender for top ten easily so far.

I need a new job. If I don't switch soon, I'm going to break someone's spine.

i always dismissed Nachtmystium as hipster crap BM ... and some (most) of their Addicts stuff was just that.
heck I even thought they were just a joke band in some ways ala Liturgy.

but this new disc is seriously relentless ... headphone layered brutality. catchy as fuck too.

best of luck with all dude ... I am diddling with a major career change too ... of course this week I got about half a dozen new projects brewing out of nowhere so that will derail me yet again.
 
Honestly, I've been a fan of Nachtmystium back in the early days... they lost me with the assassins/addicts stuff. The Silencing Machine, for me, is them finding their identity again. What I expected after Instinct/Decay. I'm going to actually buy this CD as it is that good to me.

I understand what you are saying. Time to make some serious changes. And maybe punch some fucks in the kidneys.
 
love Decimation, Annihilation with it's punk/motorhead/techno main beat going into all out BM for a minute or so then back into the main groove.

one thing, there is nobody that sounds like them ...

count me in, this album is extatic. I liked Assassins a lot when it came out (and I still think it's a great record) but the enthusiasm wore off after a while and Addicts left me very unimpressed. But the new one is just perfect for what it aims at, in every regard. No filler whatsoever.
 
the older mix of "the loss and curse of reverence" from the reverence ep is so much better than the album version

woke up in the middle of the night because of a mosquito and can't go back to sleep because of the heat, so np Monolithe - I

and I'm pretty sure I dreamt of Erik, we were seated at some University restaurant and he told me how his girlfriend was at the Olympics and got stomach flu from some black athlete. Not even making it up although the details are starting to elude me. I was eating guacamole burger that's for certain because I still have the taste in my mouth...
