The (Un)official write anything you want page

Listened to Green Carnation's Light of Day, Day of Darkness this morning for the first time in probably more than a year. What a great album. Beginning around the 20 minute mark, the next couple of minutes gives me the chills every time.

I've also just started listening to that a few times in the last week or so, and I totally agree.

I need to get that. I was into Queensryche briefly in the 90s but somehow never bought Mindcrime.

being "into" "the rÿche" is for balding 45 year old "prog" mullets who buy albums with poorly 3d rendered rings and oceans on the cover by bands called things like "stretching infinity" and refer to the act as "well i bought their latest DISC at INSIDE OUT MUSIC"

but that one album is very good

Back from Korea.

Just got an email for that job I applied to and interviewed for in Nashville. I've been designated as an "alternate candidate" which means they want me to wait around until the middle of December in case somebody else flakes and they need somebody to fill the position. The thing is, a bunch of other people have been designated the same as I have and none of us know where we are on this list of alternates. *sigh*

I bought a rapidshare account for no good reason and now I need something to download. Something awesome...

finally, after 1 boring year of unemployment, i have landed my dream job. i am now a farmer at a certified organic farm here in connecticut. i am sore, burned from the sun, dirty and blistered, but its good honest hard work.

thats great. And tbh, I find physical work leaves me with a great feeling afterwards so... enjoy.

I've now broken 2 pint glasses, 1 tulip, 1 challice, 2 weizen glasses, and a pilsner glass while doing dishes.

THIS IS WHY WOMEN SHOULD DO DISHES.

Dell completely replaced my old laptop (thank you extended warranty) but this new one has Vista which has immediately turned me off. I still have a DVD that came with my old laptop with XP on it. Is there any reason to stick with Vista? And if I want to switch back to XP, how do I do that?
