We had a conversation at work the other day about dudes and their pants: what's worse? The really tight shit or the punks that wear them so baggy that their drawers are showing and they have to be held up as they walk? My argument was both. The baggy look pisses me off and makes me want to see them die in a fire. The tight look is just nasty. One induces rage. The other, terror.

So an Asian women from China goes to Canada for a vacation. She stops by the currency exchange place to get some Canadian dollars.
She trades in 165 of her Chinese ...dollars and gets 146 Canadian.
She heads out on her vacation and spends all the loot and comes back five days later for more dough. So she gives the desk clerk another 165 Chinese coins but this time receives only 126 Canadian.
She asks the clerk, "heeyyy, how come you onry give me 126?!?"
The desk clerk says,"well ya know....fluctuations"
The Chinese lady says,"OH YEA?, well fuck-you white people too!!!"

So I finally received the results...weeks after they were supposed to be in...and no news wasn't good news. It was a papillary thyroid carcinoma...or cancer for those keeping score at home. I am scheduled to have the rest of the thyroid removed a week from tomorrow and am supposed to have some radiation treatment (radioiodine) a few weeks after that. Fucking yay.
The rewards from :Smokedev: had better be sweet as hell when I get there.

In the long run, what's wrong with that?
I've struggled a bit since I was 17 living on my own and never asked anything of my 'rents. Am I better off? Not necessarily, just better prepared for bad.
He has things that I don't whether they were given or taken. Status is all that matters.

Well I'd rather have a job that I really enjoy and that pays me well, than a job that just makes me look good regardless of it's actual substance. By status I just meant the looking good/looking cool part of it.

Oh crap, sorry to hear that. Hope the surgery and radiation go well! No cancer is good cancer, but from what I understand about cancer of the thyroid, you'll more than likely be just fine after all is said and done
