i was just THIS CLOSE to moving into an apartment where a guy recently killed his 7 year old son with a knife and was sentenced to 18 years in prison

jail sentences are a lot different in europe... over here, that dude most likely would have received life in prison. same with mr. vikernes over there in norway. not that i necessarily agree with life in prison all of the time, but if you murder your 7 year old son with a knife then you'll probably still be crazy after 18 years.

but im glad you didn't end up in that place. the madness within may have driven you to murder your girlfriend/father/close friends

yo i don't think i want to open up the rehabiliation/punishment can of worms but let me just say that i think if you look at the respective crime rates of our countries you will see how effective the "lock 17 year old kids up for 50 years in a demeaning shithole and break them down completely" approach is
