I heard one song on the radio the other morning in the work truck that actually wasn't a travesty. I forget what the name was though. If I heard it, I'd know it. Good guitar work and catchy. All the other ones I heard that they played were unbearable though, Tattoo being the worst. I wanna know how they picked that song as their go-to single.

the music sounds ok ... but Spin nailed it with "David Lee Roth often sounds like a 2 A.M. drunk doing David Lee Roth at karaoke"

http://tyrannyoftradition.com/2012/02/10/rick-santorum-declares-war-on-heavy-metal/

“If you listen to the radio today, many of these brand new, so-called heavy metal music bands like Black Sabbath, Venom, The WASP and Iron Maiden use satanic imagery to corrupt the minds of young people,” announced Santorum at a 10,000 dollar a plate sock-hop in Valdosta, Georgia on Thursday.

Um, what fucking decade is he living in when those are new heavy metal bands?

Dell fucking rules period. Used and worked on literally hundreds if not thousands over the last 15 years or so. NONE gave me an issue worth remembering.

I had a number of issues with my first Dell laptop. I needed to get the keyboard replaced, the video card replaced, and some other problem I can't remember. And finally the whole thing just crapped out. Thankfully, the warranty was pretty long and everything was replaced for free. In the end, they replaced the whole laptop with a better one. Now I've been on the Dell Studio laptop that was the replacement for quite some time with no problems at all. And that's surprising since it gets so fucking hot in the summer here that it's a miracle this thing hasn't overheated and melted through my fucking table.

Seems pretty solid. I haven't gotten used to how quiet it is. My HP laptop was only this quiet after it would die, which it particularly liked to do while I was typing up papers for school. :Smug:

Pretty good deal for my simple needs I think, and it came with Office already, which of course I need for school. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dell-Blac...e-Student-Full-edition-Pre-loaded-an/16564963

I don't really care about switching the lid, but I suppose if this one gets scratched or something, then that's a good option to have.
