The Unstoppable LUNCH Thread!

breakfast was a canadian bacon sandwich and a banana.

lunch was a grilled chicken breast with bbq sauce, roasted potatoes, and corn (marie callenders tv dinner) :loco:

meh/10 for all of it, too bummed about my puppy to enjoy.
 
Well, first of all our vet is VERY nice and caring. He really enjoys working with animals, and loves Rusty. But, he's also honest. When we took Bruce up there with his heartworms, the vet gave it to us pretty straight that he probably wouldn't make it.

He seems confident that Rusty will get over this though. He gets a bath and dip today, another bath a week from today, and another dip the week after that. If that doesn't work then he'll have to take antibiotics, but again, the vet is confident, so I am too. The mange isn't so bad that he's started scratching til he bleeds or anything. It still sucks though.
 
At least he doesn't have the Scabies type of mange...now THAT would really suck, and we'd all have it. Sorry to ruin anyone's lunch with the thought of Scabies :loco:
 
I'm about to make myself some Spaghetti Carbonara.

Seriously whoever thought of Spaghetti + Melted cheese + Bacon = win.

Oh if he's not even in the Antibiotics stage then it's VERY VERY good,
He'll get over this in no time. Just keep on giving him all the love in the world and healthy food and he'll be fine.
When Mange is in the early stages and is taken care of - it's gone in weeks.
 
BFL for lunch today, our Friday tradition. Our graphic designer asked me today if I am aware of the "bacon revolution" that seems to be happening. I haven't noticed it, but when he said that, I decided I'm having a bacon cheeseburger with my "Beer For Lunch." Preemptive strike: 10/10. I'll take pics.

Yeh, they even put bacon on chicken sammiches at fast food places now. Bacon Swiss chicken sammich is pretty damn tasty.
 
Homer: I'll have the smiley face breakfast special. Uhh, but could you add a bacon nose? Plus bacon hair, bacon mustache, five o'clock shadow made of bacon bits and a bacon body.
Waitress: How about I just shove a pig down your throat?
(Homer looks excited)
Waitress: I was kidding.
Homer: Fine, but the bacon man lives in a bacon house!
Waitress: No he doesn't!

This is the "bacon revolution" that our grahic designer was talking about that I mentioned. I don't see it, aside from things like Bacon Salt. But apparently, according to him, there's some shit called Maple Bacon Coffee now. Weird.
