Bummer for Flotz. I notice in the light of having fuck all information Blabber choose to quickly connect pulling out of the tour with the show they pulled out of a few months back because of vax issues. They are careful not to actually say that's the reason the tour isn't happening but they also make no effort to keep the two separate. Fucking scumbag journos.

I believe it's awards like "best first movie" and "best found footage", those sort of awards that no one really knew existed but they were the only one in the category anyway.
Given they are boasting about how cheaply it was made $1.99 sounds reasonable

Yeah Blabber is definitely trying to stir up some shit. I guess any press is good press. Well not when it's a Blabber. I can't believe how small their name is on the poster! I get that it's Europe. But it's not even the original Accept. And The Bastard Sons? Good band. But their name is also way way bigger than Flotsam's. Just kinda weird to me.

He did have an interview a few weeks back that listed some of the awards and while I don't remember the actual awards they did sound a bit like participation awards that all films will get.

I don't know much about Accept these days so they wouldn't be my choice in headliner anyway. Phil Campbell's band has suffered a loss of vocalist recently but even with that they are fairly popular in Europe, because of the Phil Campbell bit, and they've been headlining plenty of their own shows. I'm not surprised to see Flotz opening for them, I'm surprised to see Accept as the headliner.

Yeah it seems people really want to hate on the guy and they can come up with plenty of reasons to do it. However I can imagine that if he does do something post Slayer, or god forbid Slayer actually comes back even for one gig, comparisons between his wife and Sharon, or Wendy Dio will be made.

Speaking of birthday's, and quoting myself at the same time, it was Mrs. Hoglan's birthday last week. Gene called her, his badass breathtaking queen and was full of praise for her. He didn't mention her age though, seems he lives by the thought of 'happy wife happy life'.

No mention of the new album he's been creating with her or the new Dark Angel, but I guess we can forgive him for that since it was a birthday message for Laura and not an update for us.
