The what's going on in Thrash thread

It's really weird when people pull a power play. Especially in Metal. And so unnecessary

In some ways I hope it never does. Things like Indians being able to see the mountain range just miles away after... 30 years? Is pretty cool and definitely for the better of all.

Some people are just Rockstars and want to world to know it!

I guess it all depends what level things come back. We are a greedy race and people really want to spend hours and hours in planes getting places. Fuck! My parents are still considering a cruise next year!!! I understand that without travel lots of things change, which is why travel never fully stopped, but I wonder if we need it to the same extent that it was.

Nah I didn't either. But he needs to think about what he says sometimes. Even the perceived pressure of a lighthearted statement about it or a joke is something I wouldn't think Richie needs anytime soon lol.

I do like the thought of Ritchie asking for his guitar while in his hospital bed though :)

Was the majority of the video out of focus for you?
Zet's right we take our shit serious down here, we don't want you germie fuckers down here spreading your shit, we want to keep it all to ourselves and breed the muthafucker so everyone can have it. Seriously how the fuck does a city of 5 million people still manage to get 2300 cases of this bug a day while they are locked down and things are tighter than a fishes arse?

Interesting that Chuck said they've only been down here as a part of Soundwave. To me that shows a lack of decent promoters down here, bands like Overkill know it's possible to tour here and with Soundwave dead someone really needs to step up.

That Lucid album is out today and while the media are referring to it as things like David's side project, or Lucid ft. David, the man himself has started referring to it as "OUR" album. Up until today his words have more suggested it was a side project or extra project, but now he seems to have embraced it. I hope it doesn't mean this is the last we'll see of Jnr in thrash.

Yeah it looked really murky as hell. Huh for some I thought Testament had been for more than that.
Lol Germie fuckers. Good stuff.

Maybe it's projected to do better than he thought? It better not be! I still haven't gotten the albumI want from him.

I thought they did one tour by themselves before Shitwave and two Shitwaves, but according to the band list they only did one Shitwave and if Chuck's right no previous tour. That makes only one tour. Bloody slack band!! It really makes me wonder what promoters here do.

Jerry Seinfield called us the ass end of the world. We'll soon be that again if people don't stop spreading this fucking bug. And to think we are supposed to be opening up within weeks.

I don't really have a problem with him attaching himself to it, I just don't want him to attach himself to it because it's all he has.

Well Chuck was wrong when they said they hadn't done a ballad since way back in the day. So you never know.

Considering Overkill have done it, even Dark Angel did it, I would reckon either Exodus or Testament could do it. Throw a double header on the bill and I reckon they could easily make the tour worth while. But I'm sure half the promoters here haven't even heard of the bands so unless their management made first contact no promoter here will.

Yeah any of those bands could put a really killer package. Man I really hope you guys get some of these guys down there again!
That should be part of management's job right? Is Chuck managing Testament?

Some times it sounds like Chuck is managing, other times it sounds like he doesn't know what's going on in enough detail. Maybe he's helping or something like that. I know Sabaton completely manage themselves, for organisation to money to accounting, and it's suggested they are one of the few world headlining bands that do, so while I suspect Chuck has some input but I wonder how much.
