The what's going on in Thrash thread

Decided to have a further look, I'm not sure yet where the metalcore bit from wiki comes into it but in 2014 they signed with Breaking Bands and then toured with Exodus and Testament the following year.

Ok screw this, no more reading I'm just going to hunt out some of their music and listen to it

Haha everything kills us we all drink Fosters and talk like Crocodile Dundee...oh and we all ride kangaroos to school, thats us!
I Fucking Knew It!!! LOL :D Australia makes some cool movies. And no I'm not talking about Crocodile Dundee lol Although that does have a place in my tiny heart.

Hahaha, you fix'em for a living but your own is messed up. That's classic!!

Yeah Shattered Sun toured with Testament a couple years ago so I checked them out. I'll pass. TeeHee.

We made Wolfe Creek and Razorback, if they had put a metal soundtrack behind them they'd have been near perfect horror movies :)

My desktop is in good working order, regularly backed up and holds all my work and music stuff but the laptops kind of get forgotten.

I've only listened to the first single and since the rest of the album appears there I will listen to it all because I need something new to listen too. Shattered Sun may not be that band but I'm looking for something new while the release list is slow.

So what are your favorite Metal church albums? Have you heard X1?

I have got XI but I haven't listened to it much because it came in an order with a few other things and kind of got forgotten. I didn't dislike it, just liked a few others more.

I'm still an old school fan though. The first three are my favourites and Blessing is one that does get played every few months.

The first three with Howe? Those are mine as well. I like the new one, it did have to be played a few times to really get addicted though. Really it's just awesome to have Mike Back.

Actually I was thinking about MC, Blessing, and The Human (I forgot about the Dark) I do like Howe's vocals and probably more than I like Wayne's on the opener but MC was still one heavily listened too because it was brought it a time where I was buying less albums and listening to the ones I did buy for longer.

Yeah the cover does suck, kind of Like Exodus with Force Of Habit....actually no that's not true, FOH looks like it was drawn by a three year old.

I don't mind HITB but I prefer the original because it's the first one I got and listened to it the most. I've not a fan of the vocals but I like the songs.

I was a bit disappointed when Maiden stopped (or cut down) using Riggs, not that the covers became worse it was just that I always looked forward to a new Maiden cover.

Tuning the vocals out is like tuning out your mother, wife, kids, the boss, or that guy in the pub no one listens too. Once you can do it there can be all sorts of great music to be heard.

To me Pusshead was a lot more than just Metallica, he did skateboards and all sorts of stuff I knew about where as Riggs while doing other things wasn't doing that much that crossed my path, so I didn't miss Pushead's work on Metallica's covers as much as I missed Rigg's.

If you can make instrumentals out of any song there is a whole new world of music. If you can make instrumentals out of music you can watch The Wizard of Oz and listen to Dark Side of the Moon with headphones on and finally realise what stoners have known for a long time is the most magical crossover of music and pictures ever created.

I haven't don't it for a long long time but like any of the early Pink Floyd albums through headphones it really should be done even if it's without the illicit substances.

Or maybe to put the truth out. Lol you don't know.

Everyone has their own version of the truth so that goes without saying but usually those who harp on and on about something are doing it to hide something else.
