The what's going on in Thrash thread

https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/g...-the-two-bands-shared-the-stage-36-years-ago/

I'm pretty sure one gig in 86 is not the reason Exodus and Metallica haven't shared a stage again. I reckon it's got more to do with a full on Exodus crowd would scare too many Metallica fans :)

I do love the way so many of the commentors rubbish Gary for bringing up 36 years stories but also know the truth better than Gary does.
Oh for sure.
Yeah I don't get it. It's like talking about yourself in any sort of positivity brings out the experts and their scorn. How dare he say something good about his band! And a truth?! Fuck that! Cancel Gary!
By the way dipshits. Every real thrasher has known this story for ages. Gary isn't the only one who talks about it.

Don't worry mine will be late.

Yeah that's always a potential issue. Every day on the news these days we are getting told how overwhelmed the postal service is and how Christmas presents will arrive late etc etc. Pre-ording an album to listen to on release day would almost be a waste of effort.

Commentors are like that one sober wanker the night after a big party. No one else remembers anything but one wanker has to relate every other thing that happened.

I say good luck to Gary, if that's the way he remembers it and wants to re-tell it then fine. Imagine a world without rockstar stories :)

Yup. At most they'll post a twitter feed. So lame.

It make me think that more and more bands are using their labels to update websites and admin staff within their own group to update social media. It's easy to do social media and pretty much anyone with the password can do it, but not many bands would hire web designers.

@zerostatic After seeing you had been listening The Graveyard the other day I decided to get it out myself. Damn that's a brilliant album, I love the way he tells the story. King Diamond is a bit of an acquired taste but shit he's done some great stuff over the years.

Yes, this is a brilliant album and probably his most underrated release IMHO. Next to Abigail this is my favorite solo album he's done. I really like the production too.

Glad to see some appreciation for The Graveyard. I also think Voodoo is underrated as well.

He's a brilliant story teller. The way the Graveyard rolls through from his incarceration to his afterlife in about 60 mins is almost unmatched.
