I had my reservations at first, figured it would just be another shitty excuse to make money with no originality. But even though it relied heavily on the original story, i.e. the kids are related to original Ghostbuster, Gozer, Stay Puff etc it was really well executed. They didn't even remake the title song with some new shitty pop artist.

Oh that does make it a bit better having them related. I saw kids in the trailer and immediately tuned out lol.

The kid thing works way better than I thought it would be, the young girl is quite a good actor. The eldest kid is from Stranger Things and I never liked him in that, in fact I just don't like the kid, but he's not the main character and for the most part ignorable as the annoying shit from Stranger Things.

On the whole I thought the the first two seasons on Stranger Things was ok, but then something happened and I just found myself less interested in watching it.
