But what surprised me was Killber B's is there biggest seller. At best the data is old but I don't know how accurate.

Wow. I know some of that is because of how good POT was and people just ran out to buy the new album unheard. But still. That's amazing...ly sad about killer b's

Very little talk about the new album.

I was reading last night on wiki that Charlie first mentioned them preparing for the new album in March 2017, he claimed they would start it in the summer of 2017, 12 months after Kings. At the same time he also suggested there was two of three songs left over from Kings that could be used for the new album. In May 2018 that changed to Scott saying they'd not started and only had riffs. They then took on the Slayer tour and put the album off to 2019. Now here we are in 2020 and they still only have a few songs written and Scott's still not confirming an album before he comes back from holiday.

I was reading something yesterday about thrash bands using the pandemic to theme songs and someone claimed Mustaine will use this opportunity to follow up Dystopia with a full pandemic themed album. I'm not sure that will be the case given how long the songs have been in the writing process for but it's still funny.

It's weird that a bunch of nothing songs beats two really good albums. While Killer B's isn't terrible it's a mix of live songs, covers and 2 really crappy rap songs. It's not even a full album yet it sold over 100K more units that SOWN did.

Maybe the others in the band got a buzz from their little iso video the other day and they might kick Charlie and Scott into actually doing something. Imagine how stupid it will be if they don't bother writing anything in iso because they can't tour it, then when they come out in 2022 (according to Scott) they'll have to tour with Kings still their latest album.

I don't know how bands like Sodom are doing it. How do you create an album in isolation? Surely it can't be done? :)

Although over in German things are starting to happen again. I don't know if it's right on wrong but I see the other day the Germans conducted a study with 3 live performances, 1 with no social distancing, 1 with some and 1 under complete covid rules to see how germs spread around an indoor venue. We had media type here reporting the story and saying how stupid they were to do such a thing, but the way I see it is at least they are doing something.

Oh geez that could be great if you only want to see a band once every 10 years!!

To be fair they did make sure all participants tested negative well before they agreed to attend. But from what I can tell it was pop bands anyway so I wouldn't have said yes in the first place.

Good to see Kerry is keeping himself busy. MI are reporting that Kerry is considering Phil Anselmo, Paul Bostaph (however it's spelt) and Gary Holt as his hired help. I seriously hope like most things on MI that is a load of shit. Not only because it's pretty much just modern day Slayer with Phil on vocals, but because Exodus need Gary back. I also think Kerry needs to draw in some completely new blood so it's not Slayer mrk3.

Yeah that rumor has been the one going on since Slayer announced it's final. I wouldn't mind that line up. He for sure needs to get all well know people in there.

Fuck. I can't say I followed them, but after listening to a bunch of their stuff and watching some footage I wish I had. It is a big loss.
I'm going to buy their albums.
What a bunch of bullshit. Way to young.
