Not really anything important so far. But it is good. They are entertaining together.
Do they dance the jig?

Ah old school gore. Awesome! They should put those out again!
No Thom? Good luck!
Yeah, Thom is not going to be in demand much as a vocalist when he and Ellefson part ways. Must be nice to have friends in high places!
I was disappointed by some of the covers on that Ellefson cover album that they did, especially the vocals. The album cover looked awesome though and the track listing looked promising.
I think they are saving that for part 2Do they dance the jig?
That would be interesting to know. I'm sure there are more graphic covers. But how many of them would have been known to those people at that time would there be? Just thinking of some of the very tame things that were banned here. A lot of smaller known bands flew under the radar while shit like a Poison cover was getting banned.I know there was a lot of banning happening in the 80's (anniversary of "Fuck You" today I believe), but those two covers seem pretty tame compared to what bands were having banned. Both are gorey but I reckon there was worse out there, maybe it came down to how conservative the labels each band were on were.
I'd really only get if for AK. But it does seem like a waste of money overall.I still haven't listened to that covers album. But I was really disappointed with Sleeping Giants. I thought there was some decent songs on it but Thom ruined every song he sung on.
Yeah it was a bit sneaky. Because Jr started out doing Metal Allegiance which is well to be a rotation of people. Then his bass tour to promote some stuff and started doing Megadeth covers as a bass playthrough and then before you know it he's got a full band with him and then drops the basstory thing and now it's like almost full time Thom Hazert.I think Ellefon would be better off sticking with KK's Priest. They sounded great at that live show that they did together. Might get some decent festivals or tours too. Seems better than a lot of other things he has going on.
If I was Mustaine, I would be ticked that my bassist was touring with a Megadeth tribute band playing songs I wrote while he was still in the band! I've never heard of any other musician doing this,
Yeah the Kirk years? lol. I'm still calling a little bull on their 40th celebration.Just listening to an Exodus demo from 1982, it's quality is pretty average but they sound a bit poser-ish, this must be pre-crazy eyes because there is just not enough crazy included in these songs.

Lol oh yeah. Cartoon robo rape. Oh no! save the children!!What about the GNR cover inside Appetite, that was pretty tame really. You have to wonder if that was really an over zealous record company exec or a marketing plan to make a mountain out of a molehill. Back in the 80's we had Massive Appendage's album Severed Erection which got banned but rightly so it was disgusting, yet their name still got blazoned across store fronts that sold it. When the same album was re-released on 2008 it wasn't even censored. I have no idea if that's a sign of the times or just stupid.
Well I'm not so sure it was a celebration so much as a mark for their 40th. Except it's only Tom left and they weren't signed.Yeah Kirk years where he stole riff.
What 40th celebration?
