The thing that really shits me about FOH is that damn cover of Elvis Costello. It's never been a great song but the tune is so fucking catchy and it's one of the worst earworms out there.
Yeah it's too long lol. I still haven't gotten to it. Poor gene. Let's see him do all that fancy double bassing without ankles!Going to have to put that on the watch list for later, 1:36 is too long for right now.
But you're dead right, Testament supporting Metallica wouldn't end pretty, Lars would kick Gene's drumming ass!! Jamez would out sing Chuck...hmmm maybe not!
Did the singer die? Was that Trauma? I can't keep Greg's bands straight.Wreck-Defy have a new EP of covers out today, it's only 4 tracks and one of them is available on bandcamp.
But the big news is that they also have a new album coming out in December.
According to the bandcamp site Greg is still in the band, as is Matt from Annihilator.
Hoping album number 4 produces that potential that they've hinted at having since the first album but not quite found.

Little pieces of brain everywhere!
Shit. What would they do without their eyecandy?!
Yeah that's my favorite Zetro. Good friendly violent fun!
Been blasting the first three Howe albums for a couple days. So fucking good. Gotta hand it to Kurd. Those albums still sound pretty good. Especially The Human Factor and Hanging In The Balance. Blessing In Disguise still has a touch of the 80's tinny drum sound but not nearly as bad as some other bands. Some of the lyrics are hard to listen to after what happened. I don't know that he's talking about himself. But still hard.
Nah that must be Trauma. Wreck-Defy started with Aaron Randall who is ex Annihilator (guitarist is also ex Annihilator) and in 2020 they changed vocalist to Greg Wagner who hasn't been in any bands I remember. I do remember his voice sounding different to Aaron and Aaron's voice being one of the lesser points of the first two albums but I don't really know how good Greg is.

I don't know really know how much any of the members of those albums contributed either. However large or small though it shows. Those albums are great.Kurdt was a master songwriter, one of the very best. I do wonder how much Craig Wells contributed to those early albums though.
