The what's going on in Thrash thread

No idea about this band but it sounds like they are all gonna keep going.

Nervosa's first two albums kicked arse, the third was good but not as good. They play some really good thrash like many bands have forgotten these days.

Yeah, cassette box set huh? Why would someone spend a bunch of money on something that will sound like crap?

Tapes are making a comeback, and maybe they will release a CD version. But it's definitely weird. I know they are pretty much a nostalgic act these days but taking it to tape seems a little too nostalgic.

It’s nice to know Gary was a true friend to him!

Although I do wonder what some of these media writers think about the relationship between Paul and the band. It seems like any time the band does something for Paul, or mentions his name they are surprised. Yet to me the band seem like they have nothing but respect for Paul, every anniversary, every birthday, every milestone is celebrated on FB.

Apparently F&J have released the out of print Live in Japan 2006 DVD on their YT channel. I haven't looked at it and they do say that although some work was done the original quality was not that great.

I don't ever remember seeing it, so I'll have to look later. Gotta go to school first thing today, the kids aren't allowed to go but I'm allowed to go and help the teachers get the IT working. I don't know if I feel privileged or if I am being sacrificed :)

TBH at our school most of the teachers want school back and are willing to do what it takes to get the kids back, but the state premier refuses to budge. Other states in Australia are sending their kids back within the next week or two but this state is saying 10 more weeks at least.

Our schools are just starting the second term of the year so the argument that it's early in the year and not going to a effect them much. But most experts are saying it's not only the education but all other forms of growing up that are being effected. I read a government report from one state the other day that put the risk to kids at school (both catching and spreading the bug) at about 0.4%. It was an extensive study and like all studies shouldn't be taken as 100% gospel but it's a hell of a low risk to up end so many kids and ruin an entire year. But it does seem like our state government thinks that the economy is going to be fucked so they may as well fuck the kids education as well.

Oh yeah, the media are running rampant with so many different stories almost like they are trying to confuse people. I'm sure the governments like a heard of confused sheep rather than have people think for themselves.
