The what's going on in Thrash thread

I understand his side. For some stupid reason he once again went with a retarded drum machine. Album done, money spent. Then realized like a genius that drum machines suck and went with real drums. So then of course everything else but the vocals had to be redone.
Greedy NB won't give him money all over again. So of course he has to go to the fans.
I don't see your problem with this.... .....

I don't have a problem him asking for money because I know it wont come from me :P
It does really seem greedy of NB though. I'm fairly sure it's good business to say "we think you album will make us $100,000 so here have $4,000,000...oh and by the way feel free to take your time with it we don't need that money back in a hurry."

If he keeps talking about it it could happen :)
As much as Scott has sort of endorsed it I can't see the current band being overly happy about it. Such a gig would require them to move too far out of their comfort zone.
I reckon it would be a good idea as a one off gig for an anniversary or something but I reckon they should get as many players as they can not just the vocalists.

And the dude is still upbeat and not letting shit get in the way of life. Of course he talks about issues, he says making an album was harder than normal, but he's not bitching and moaning and him and the band have found a way around it. Even if this album isn't the best in their career I think it should sell the most just because the band has made the effort so many others haven't.

No I don't really care for many of them either and I wouldn't mind betting not all could show up. But if the invitation was there it would look good for the band. It would be something different though. I know JP were looking at inviting back as many of their past members as they could for the 50th (despite KK saying they wouldn't invite him), the same could be done for Anthrax. I do think there is too many egos for it too happen, however I'm not entirely sure those egos only belong to the vocalists :)

Yeah that's true. It would be cool to just have 20 people up there.

Exactly, no one is asking for a world tour where everyone wants to paid megabucks and people will spend their days fighting. But a one off gig would be kind of cool. It's kind of funny how bands often reunite with guitarist, or put an old drummer on stage but when it comes to vocalists they don't seem as keen. Helloween did it and created a fucking awesome stage show and now they are in the studio with two vocalists so it can work, although I can see why with some bands it wouldn't work.
