The "which demo are you worshipping" Thread

Talking about demos from bands with well-known albums, Artillery's early demo stuff is awesome. They were a Sabbath-y doom/thrash band early on, and their Shellshock demo in particular has better production than Fear of Tomorrow. That guitar tone is just amazing:



Heathen's demo with Paul Baloff is the best thing they ever did as well. I think Baloff wrote the lyrics on these early versions; they're a lot more violent.

Both Obscure Burial demos are great too.

Says they're nearly done writing the first album so hopefully it's recorded some time soon.

^i love 'heartless city' so much. gives me shivers every time. rivals 'a sorcerer's pledge' as the best song langquist ever sang on, IMO. that ending, ahhhhhhh.
