It's a 19" double monitor setup here at work. I can have it go all the way, but the application I tend to run on the right hand side monitor is fullscreen anyway...

I know what the fuck auto-hide is, but I choose not to use it

When you're not clicking/using the taskbar its hidden. to bring it up with auto-hide on hit the windows button or just minimize any full screen programs and bring your mouse all the way down.
