Thread reading habits

If I'm in a hurry I will start with where I left off last & see if anyone comments me.

If I'm not in a hurry I will go & read everything from since I last posted.

If I'm dealing with a long thread that already has a lot of replies I will read the first 5-10 or so replies then go to the last page & try to read it before commenting.

I'm guessing I have a pretty standard way of reading threads. I don't waste time where I don't need to.

I look for subjects that best intrest me in the topic. Like those British punks making fun Of Scottish People, Hey Asshole you don't control us anymore infact it was a Scottish King that United the Uk and made it a country so deal with it.

C) British people, or Britons,[1] are a nation[2][3][4][5][6] or inhabitants of Great Britain[7][8] or citizens of the United Kingdom, of the Isle of Man, one of the Channel Islands, or of one of the British overseas territories. In an historical context, the word is used to refer to the ancient Brythons, the indigenous inhabitants of most of Great Britain.

Yes, we (English people) are British, nobody would deny that, but in the same way you are also North American. I would rather be called English than British, because being called British implies I somehow have something to do with Scotland or Wales when I don't at all. I've never even been to either of them!

If somebody calls me British in general conversation, I wouldn't have an issue with it, but since we are having the conversation, I wanted to state my preference.

You're argument is retarded; if you live in either England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you're still British.

But North America isn't a country. I'm just trying to emphasize what cookie said: that Americans call English people British because most Americans call people by the country they live in, and you obviously live in England which is a country in a country. And besides, in a historical context, England's always been called Britain, officially or not.

But rest easy, I always say English instead of British when I'm talking to or about someone from England; I'm just illustrating that it's fine and perfectly acceptable to call an English person British, and that English people that complain about it are being buttheads.

Americans say we're the UK because they cant take the fact they speak a language that is named after our country, so England and the English are not mentioned. Suck on that.

So then what do Mexicans call Spain? What do Brazilians call Portugal? That argument is dumb. :)

Dude Im 3rd generation American Most of my family still live In Scotland You british Fuckwads

By the way we call you British Because that area Is called Great Britian Not because of the English Name. It's the way we are taught in school:erk:

You know whats funny is that everyone is like Fuck the U.S. and I would like to know why the beef Except for the Revolutionary war in the U.S. when we defeated the British to get our independence people form Europe should not hate us....

You're called the United kingdom Because you're fucking flag is a mix of ST. Georges Cross, ST. Andrews Cross, And ST. Patricks cross (Even though he bloody we wasn't martyred). A Mixture of England, Scotland and Ireland.

Blame yourselves for conquering so much.

He has a point and I guess we need to get back onto subject.
I just look for points of intrest in diffrent post. Thats when I say stuff.

Dude the U.s. really hasn't took any thing from other countries except during ww1 and ww2 thats when our victories went down. Look at Korea, Vietnam, we won Desert Storm for the United Nations, and we are now in the war with terrorism, Which I think some Big wigs in the Office started in the first place. Now I'm going to back on subject. If the thread dosen't intrest me then im not talking on it.
