As for being "owned" by the clients, it's not like I ask them to just throw the old strings down on the floor. But I have better things to do than to chase after sloppy people all day long.

That's funny, because the only band I've had in the studio that was really neat and tidy (and actually following the ordinance I had posted on the wall) was from Germany.

Haha, could be a national character trait (although I doubt it) ...

Actually, I don't work with bands in the studio anymore. I just work with a different producer or session musicians/singers, so these are all pros who know how to behave properly. That's probably the real reason ...
