Things you're very unlikely to hear in the studio

"You're right! 'Good enough' really isn't good enough! I'll try a few more times to get a good take."

And +1 for, "Go ahead and take your time mixing. Having a good sounding CD is more important than getting it sooner."
 
That's funny, because the only band I've had in the studio that was really neat and tidy (and actually following the ordinance I had posted on the wall) was from Germany.

Actually, I don't work with bands in the studio anymore. I just work with a different producer or session musicians/singers, so these are all pros who know how to behave properly. That's probably the real reason ...
