Yep, but not at all for the reasons you have stated.

Also, the of the little I saw, Obama was clearly the better of the two, regardless of whether you agree with his policies or not. McCain will not seem to drop the whole earmark spending issue, despite Obama constantly clarifying that it amounts to relatively little of the federal budget.

Obama just seems more prepared to me I guess.
 
I'll admit I am pretty ignorant politically. I watched last night's debate and much preferred Obama's answers and attitude. McCain comes off like a tempermental, crotchety old man. I could have done without his soft scoffing into his microphone and his bug-eyed faces when he had a point to make and had to sit and wait. Plus he kept repeating the same shit over and over.

I'm really curious to know what issues you actually favor McCain on. Because Obama pretty much has him beat on:

1) Economy
* by having a real solution to our health care problem (i.e. modeling it after successful European systems) as opposed to "lol letz cut taxz mor an evrything wil be fien"
* by having a cleaner slate on financial regulation than McCain, who has a history of advocating deregulation, and probably also has personal motives behind that advocacy

2) Environment
* by having a much more pro-environment voting record

3) Civil Rights
* by supporting net neutrality (which McCain is unsurprisingly apathetic on)
* by supporting equal rights for gays regarding civil unions (which McCain is again apathetic on)
 
McCain just got dubbed again, Joe Plumber doesn't even have a plumbing license and he doesn't make over 250k. So McCain stop taking talking points from Fox News, they don't know what their talking about
 
I feel bad for McCain. When he loses this election he's gonna be sitting at the table in one of his houses looking at Cindy McCain; "I tried dear, I tried so hard, and I was so close this time. This was my chance to achieve my life goal, but I blew it. I picked an idiot for a vp, I used cheap smears, and lost my honor. MY HONOR CINDY!! Look at me now, I'm 77 and dying. I'll fade away and Barrack fucking Obama will forever remain." *cries*

he needs to win, you have to give this poor old man sympathy. Obama can always run next time, but McCain....McCain is dying and doesn't have as many years left as Obama. I feel deep remorse for McCain and I want this good old man to die happy. Anyways when he does croack we always have Palin aka Bulldog to represent us.

I personally hope Obama wins the election, and then fails to win the federal suit currently brought against him requiring him to produce a birth certificate showing he is a natural born citizen......

Mccain is going to TAX health care? Wat?
I can't believe Mccain thinks that Roe v Wade should be overturned. I'm pretty sure it won't happen even if Mccain manages to get elected. But it's pretty obvious to me that both Mccain and Palin don't give a shit about womens rights and want to impose their religious views on the rest of us. Palin wants creationism taught in public schools (which is against the law,btw) and that abstinence should be taught instead of sex ed. Yeah because abstinence OBVIOUSLY worked with her own kid who is 17 and knocked up.
Palin is just bad all around and if Mccain dies and she gets in, we are so fucked. Dunno if you guys have heard about this but Palin SUPPORTS aerial wolf hunting in Alaska. They chase wolves with a helicopter to the point of exhaustion and THEN shoot them. Palin also offers $150 for every severed left foot of every wolf killed. Nice to see she's making a profit from cruelty. I understand wolves are killing livestock, BUT MAYBE IF THEY WOULDN'T BUILD HOUSES WHERE WOLVES LIVE THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN. Oh and she also wants polar bears removed from the endangered species list.
