Swabs. Chill. You've been here since 2006. I've been here since fucking 2001. I've seen this place change a lot, and much more than you did. You know what? Changes fucking happen, people come and go. You can't do shit about it except try to have fun regardless.
Do you find someone pathetic? Why care? He won't change for someone posting from another fucking country. Did you see someone posting something you don't agree with? State your opinion. Have fun with it. Do you see someone trolling or attacking an innocent? 1) Defend the innocent, 2) flame the offensive, abusive and/or senseless bastard (you gotta have SOME fun!), 3) report the post.
It's not that you're criticizing something that's not wrong. And you have the absolute sole right to come here and write about whatever makes you unhappy about this forum. It's just that you won't change a bunch of people at once, much less via an off-topic internet forum about a heavy metal band.
Changes of the nature that you're looking for takes time. But the good news is that at least now people are being more civil. We have a good mod now who's not a cynic just waving the banhammer around and hitting whoever pisses him off, just to show his authority. The mods actually banned some people that REALLY needed to be banned. And people are getting the message.
But changes take time. People learn, and people come and go.
I'm not trying to play the veteran here. But really, just chill. And be a part of making the forum better everyday. It's what you can do.
