This is an area called Seven Lakes Drive...it's a Geological reserve, property of the NY Museum of Albany. All pictures taken with my Sony digital camera last Saturday at noon, no effects, even less talent. :)

I applied for a job in San Francisco this week actually, for Download.com aka CNET (Demonspell, please don't kill me :p ).

Sweet. That river looks well lush :)

So lush I think I want to build an office block in the middle of it all :)

Hopefully within the next 20 years I will own a home with a backyard like that. Fuck.

I'm going to my father's house today so I will take the opportunity to smoke a doobie and venture on into the woods. His backyard rules. It's all woods then hits the state forest property which goes on for miles.

It is pretty cool, and I won't deny that walking in a forest like that is pretty inspirational in an Agalloch kind of way, heh.

Funny thing is though, some photography can be deceptive. I'm not talking about playing with an image on the computer, but angles at which pictures are taken etc. For example, note how you only ever see one side of the Great Pyramids of Giza in Cario. That's because on the other side, there's a great big traffic highway cutting through the desert. It takes away some of the mysticism. :loco:

Campfire rings must be universal, those look identical to all the ones out here. Damn Communist Forest Service! :hypno:
