I don't know what made Reign in Blood click with me, because I felt the same way (there are probably posts made by me in this thread about it actually). Maybe it's like finding Jesus or something.

I agree, I listen to Slayer occasionally but I find a lot of their stuff very boring. So many better thrash bands out there for me. But of course their influence and importance in the genre cannot be understated so I respect them greatly for that.

Slayer is great but I feel like they write a lot of filler songs. Personally, I think Seasons in the Abyss is their best overall album.

The Seasons songs performed on Decade of Aggression sound much better than on the studio album. In fact I end up listening to that live album more than the rest of Slayer's discography except for HA and SNM.

slayer is way overrated, i only like hell awaits, 2 songs from reign in blood and maybe 1 or 2 songs more, thats it.
