So I have been resisting the urge for some time now but I guess I'm jumping on the SSD train aswell.
Some samples are just THAT good.

My question is, which EX would you recommend for someone that almost entirely use samples for metal?

Thinking about the SSD + 2 EX offer.

So name 2 Expansions for metal, that you believe is the best!

Thank you!

Another good deal is the audioMIDI 5 EX packs for $80 deal they have going on, but they only have a limited number avaialble so if you are going to buy it, get it soon.

5 for $80 Deal

They also offer the basic EX pack for $79 - so you can get the whole EX set for less than $160 and have all the kits.

Something to look into if you have not already taken the plunge.

Pop Rock Vol 3 is another good one. I got that with the original deal.

I went for this, awsome price :)
Thanks for the replies!

I got this deal about 3 months ago, and had a nightmare downloading them, so they just sent me a code for Platinum instead.. :headbang: I think it 2 or 3 extra kits..

I'm sorry but I still don't understand..

Is it better to get TRigger for replacing VSTi drums? Because Slate himself says no on his site.. (or the Kontakt packs.. I don't dislike Kontakt, as some pplz here)
I mean I don't need to replace any real drums, just my midis..

Or should I wait for version 4...?

Then my order might result in the same manner.
They took my money but didnt send any codes, I've sent an mail asking what happens now.

Edit: oh nevermind, they send the codes manually. Guess I'm too eager to test this stuff :)
But hey, my mail might actually speed it up!

SSD or "Steven Slate Drums 3.5" is a Virtual Drum instrument.. use it for creating virtual drum tracks from midi grooves or edrums/pads/keys..

TRIGGER is a drum replacer.. use it for replacing or enhancing live drums (or other drum virtual instruments such as superior).

SSD does NOT include raw samples, wavs, gogs, or tci's.
