Oh, I think I know what I'm talking about. I've heard numerous grind bands and hated every last one of them, every single second, every single chord, every single beat, every single grunt and groan. It sucks. All of it. It's the worst guitar music I've ever heard, and that includes hardcore, pop-punk, and nu metal. It barely even clings to the status of music.

I draw the line between death metal and grind at the point where decipherable riffs and rhythms break down. Amputated Genitals is squarely on the wrong side of that line.

man, everyone has their own tastes as to what they like and don't like, but that doesn't mean that the music is crap. Just say you don't like it and leave it at that, there's no point in criticising other peoples' tastes. I for one love grindcore, but not all of it. and to say that it should be thrown out with the rest of the "-core bands" is way off. Grindcore has been around since the early 80s dude, way before any of that other core stuff. It's entirely on its own. I can definitely understand not liking grind, or any style of music at all. but you still gotta respect.

I actually found this rather surprising when I first stumbled upon this community. No one seemed to show any respect at all for other people's opinions. Perhaps I must've kept to very friendly forums in the past, boards were such behaviour was mainly restricted to noobs who can't spell.

But, I guess it's just not metal to respect. I can understand that, so I don't mind. Now appreciate the awesomeness of Sigh, Machinae Supremacy and Devin Townsend or go die, fucker.

What does that list to do with a Dimmu Borgir fan? Not every Dimmu fan including me have shit taste. He mustn't be a Dimmu fan if he likes that kind of bands.
