Top 10 Favorite Bands

I only have have Vision Thing and enjoy it especially Doctor Jeep(cool song).
 
Trust me, you need the first two. Goddamn mandatory. I like "Doctor Jeep" too, but the best off of that album is easily "Ribbons." Let it be said, however, that some of the songs from that record are absolutely horrid, generic, early-90s butt rock.

swallow the sun are great; I've heard some complaints about the production (apparently, it's too clean...?) , but fuck that, they've got a very cool vocalist

they're definitely better than kalmah, cherko.
 
Perhaps. I've never heard them, but I've lost all interest in melodeath lately. But I remember liking Kalmah a lot when I actually was interested in melodeath.

STS are more melodic doom. Kalmah and Insomnium are probably my favorties right now from the melodeath genre however. I've recently really gotten into MPE as well. The Unborn is a great album.
