Fucking Traveller. I've been working on a little write up for that album since August as a part of my "Modern Classics" series of articles. It's fucking brilliant and one of the best from 2003. It has Epicurean Mass to contend with though...

I'd like to read that. I've never understood what people see it that album. It's ok... but it doesn't have the quirks (or memorable songs) that I expect from Slough Feg.

2003
Lost Horizon – A Flame to the Ground Beneath
Asmegin – Hin Vordende Sod & So
Nest - Woodsmoke
Hammers of Misfortune – The August Engine
While Heaven Wept – Of Empires Forlorn

That's a really good one! I didn't consider it because it was recorded in 1989 and released in '92 as "Hard To Be Alive."
You're right, I hadn't thought of that. I guess I will change that to Savatage - Edge Of Thorns. I didn't want to because I was rather disappointed with that album, but then 1993 was a disappointing year.

While EOT ranks lower on my ranking of the Savatage discography, it was still a decent album.

Ha ha ha ha ha! I admit I like that one too, but not as much as "Psalm 69" and "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste."

You're right, I hadn't thought of that. I guess I will change that to Savatage - Edge Of Thorns. I didn't want to because I was rather disappointed with that album, but then 1993 was a disappointing year.

Why was it disappointing? There were at least ten albums you liked, it couldn't have been that bad.

1993
Viper - Theatre of Fate
That was from '89. Were you thinking of Angra - Angels Cry?
