Incidentally @no country for old wainds, I'm very surprised you would rank Piece of Mind above your beloved Show No Mercy. What happened to the Maiden-hater who once said;
i have always maintained that [dickinson-era maiden] are the original 'fakes', instilling sacharrine emotional pointers into fundamentally light-hearted anthems; emotional heavy metal for people who'd be upset by the real thing.

Did you have a change of heart or have you always liked Piece of Mind especially?

the former mostly haha. i posted in another thread (maybe on RYM actually) that i was a dumbass about bruce-era maiden for like ten years but they sound so much better to me now, almost sounds like a different band. part of it is that i first had a lot of exposure to maiden at a time when i wasn't very receptive to trad i guess, i needed to get past my superficial negative perception of them or something. i'm glad i have done!
